McLoughlin Promenade

A half-mile paved walkway perched 100 feet above Oregon City on Singer Hill Bluff, the McLoughlin Promenade offers sweeping views of the Willamette River, Willamette Falls, and the historic downtown below. Built in the late 1930s as a WPA project on land donated by pioneer John McLoughlin, the path connects to the Grand Staircase, Singer Creek Falls, and the nearby McLoughlin House historic site. Accessible via the free Municipal Elevator.
